Volunteers are the heart of our mission, allowing us to offer food nourishment to everyone who visits our door. Their dedication and compassion ensures that no one goes hungry in our community. We are incredibly grateful for their support and commitment to making a difference in the of those in need. Together, we can create a welcoming environment for all.
Volunteers are needed between
9 AM and 3 PM Monday to Thursday
all volunteers must be 15 or older.

Training is required for some positions.

Open Door Vegetable Garden
Join our community of dedicated volunteers who have been growing fresh produce for the Freehold Area Open Door food pantry since 2019! With a generous garden plot donated by Saint Bellamine Parish, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold, we welcome new hands to help set up, tend the garden, harvest bounty, and deliver it to those in need. Everyone is invited to get involved and enjoy the rewarding experience of gardening. If you're interested in volunteering, please reach out to us!
Under 15 Volunteer Opportunities
At Open Door, we offer a variety of engaging opportunities for students and children to get involved. Below are some ways you can participate.
