Housing Security
When a housing crisis arises, Open Door is here to help.
Our Housing Security program, also known as our Advocacy Program, provides emergency rental and utility assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardship. We connect our neighbors with the resources they need to remain safely housed—offering support and guidance and help with finding relief programs. We also may be able offer help with prescription assistance and transportation services. These essential services reflect our commitment to building a stronger, more resilient community - one household at a time
Education
Open Door has two Education Programs to help children in Freehold Borough schools.
Our After School Program provides homework help, computer skills, and English language learning support. Students who complete the After School Program are also eligible to apply for our scholarship program, which assists graduates pursuing college or vocational school.
Through our partnership with the Community Arts Center of Freehold, we offer children opportunities to explore creative expression, arts education, and enrichment activities
