Our programs
At Freehold Area Open Door, we offer a variety of programs throughout the year for our food pantry clients. These include our Birthday Bag Program, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Christmas Gift Program. We are dedicated to supporting our community and ensuring that everyone has access to essential resources and joyful experiences. Join us in making a difference!
Birthday Bag Program
The Birthday Gift Program provides birthday gifts for the children of regular clients, ages 6 to 16, who live within our service area. (Freehold, Freehold Township, Allentown, Clarksburg, Colts Neck, Cream Ridge, Marlboro, Morganville, Millstone, Roosevelt, Upper Freehold). Birth Certificate must be on file.
Thanksgiving Dinner
Each November, Freehold Area Open Door provides items for a Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey.
In November 2025 we provided meals for hundreds of families.
Look for updates in early fall 2026 regarding our 2026 Thanksgiving dinner distribution.
Christmas Gift Program
To help brighten the Holiday season, each year we provide gifts to children of families registered with our Advocacy program.
